Y&R Fans Get Ready! Genoa City Live is Coming to Washington DC (Young and the Restless)

Young and the Restless fans can gear up for a once in a lifetime event. Genoa City Live! (www.genoacitylive.com) is a series of once-in-a-lifetime, live fan events dedicated to CBS’ long running daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. Fans will get up close and personal with their favorite stars in this wildly entertaining event that features audience interaction, lively question and answers, behind the scene stories and secrets, trivia and photos. Two hundred pre-registered fans will get the chance to have the actors sign autograph and take photos. The event takes a highly emotional walk down memory lane as fans relive moments of their favorite daytime soap opera with their favorite actors from the past 42 years. Tickets for the exclusive fan event goes on-sale December 29 (TODAY!).

Fans in Washington D.C. can see Genoa City Live on Sunday, January 31 at Lisner Auditorium. The performance is at 1:30pm. Tickets are $45, $55, $95 and $125 (prices do not include facility fee) and are available at the Lisner Auditorium, www.lisner.gwu.edu or charge by phone 202.994.6800.

Confirmed cast members from The Young and the Restless include Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Christian Jules Leblanc (Michael Baldwin), Sean Carrigan (Ben “Stitch” Rayburn) and Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman).

“The fans of The Young and the Restless have such a special place in their hearts for these actors who in turn have a deep appreciation for the fans,” says Bill Lee, executive producer at Faze 3 Presents.

Braeden, who has played the soap opera’s lead male character Victor Newman for 35 years, says, “These events provide a unique opportunity for the cast members to thank our incredible fans for decades of support. This is a great chance for them to get to know the actors in a live setting."

Created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, The Young and the Restless premiered on March 26, 1973 and revolutionized daytime television, setting the standard as the number one daytime drama for more than 20 consecutive years. The fictional Midwestern metropolis, Genoa City, is home to the rivalries, romances and socially conscious storylines around the lives and loves of a wide variety of strong characters (dominated by the Newman, Abbott, Chancellor, Baldwin and Winters families).

For tickets and additional information visit www.genoacitylive.com. You can follow Genoa City Live! on Facebook at www.facebook.com/GenoaCityLive or Twitter: @GenoaCityLive.

Ideal PR Media and The IDEAL Magazine will be in attendance! Let us know if you are going. We would love to include you in our "fans feature" of this event coverage. Thanks Dan!

Elephant Pants Benefit the African Wildlife Foundation!

A very special thanks to Kerri Byron at the Pontes Group for keeping Ideal PR Media/The IDEAL Magazine in the loop for this post to happen!

The Elephant Pants is a comfortable, stylish apparel brand that is dedicated to putting an end to elephant poaching.  The authentic Thai designs came to life when the brand founders took a trip to Thailand, and fell in love with the culture and wild african elephants.  For every pair sold, between $1 and $4 gets donated back to the African Wildlife Foundation.

The Elephant Pants specializes in their printed elephant pants, but they also recently launched a line of leggings and tee-shirts.  The expansion of products came after they saw great success and interest in their mission, wanting to do everything they can to help end elephant poaching.

Most pants retail for $18 each, short sleeve shirts are $18, long sleeve shirts are $22, and the leggings are $28.  Everything is available for purchase online at http://www.theelephantpants.com.

As of today, it is reported that The Elephant Pants has been able to donate over $122,500.00 back to the AWF.

Female Rapper Bianca Bonnie (formerly Young B) is Back! #MusicMonday #LHHNY

Female Rapper Bianca Bonnie (formerly Young B) - image from her public Instagram page
#MusicMonday (just a little bit early...just because :-)

Get use to the name Bianca Bonnie, because you will be seeing it a LOT in the near future. Bianca Bonnie is the new name for rapper "Young B" who made a lasting impression with the hit song "Chicken Noodle Soup" some years ago. Now, more grown and mature, she has ditched the name "Young B" and you can now address her as "Bianca Bonnie."

Rapper Bianca Bonnie formerly Young B pictured with her music manager Yandy

Neeta, Ideal PR Media's founder, remembers meeting this fly rapper as a teenager, and in fact had the pleasure of seeing her turn 17. She spent the weekend of her 17th birthday participating in a charitable weekend for the RHODES Foundation in HOT Alabama.

She was a class act and Ideal PR Media was happy she was able to participate. Kerry Rhodes (NFL, NY Jets/Arizona Cardinals) presented Bianca Bonnie (Young B) a special birthday cake while singer Keke Wyatt sang Happy Birthday to the then 16 year old.

Now in her early 20's Bianca Bonnie is on the VH1 hit show Love and Hip Hop (New York) #LHH #LHHNY showing why she is about to make her presence bigger than ever. She spit rhymes and slayed it on the show recently (Get it Bianca!) and has Yandy in her corner.

Her newest song "Hurd Ju" can be downloaded on iTunes and the newest video for this song can be seen below (explicit word content).

Be sure to check her out on VH1 and support this hard working female rapper. Follow her journey through social media via Twitter and Instagram under the name "@BIANCAisKING"

Ideal PR Media is looking forward to having a personal one-on-one with this shining star in the near future. We are so happy to see her blossoming into a beautiful young woman...so hopefully we can make that happen sooner than later~

New Video for "Have a Very Merry Christmas" holiday song featuring Siedah Garrett

Take a look and listen to the new video for the Christmas song "Have A Very Merry Christmas" co-written by the Grammy winning, twice Oscar nominated singer Siedah Garrett, song by Ralph Johnson (Earth Wind & Fire) and the video below by Oji Nuri. After seeing the video I quickly purchased the single on iTunes. This will be on repeat on my holiday playlist the rest of this season! (And probably long after the season knowing me, because I play Christmas music year-round ;-)

Take a look, and see why this will be one of your new favorite songs you will play for years to come. I absolutely love this song! (But then again don't you love everything Siedah touches? I mean she did co-write "Man in the Mirror" for Michael Jackson and sing with him on "I Just Can't Stop Loving You." ...drops mic and walks away to let you watch the video below)

2016 NAACP Image Awards Nominees!!!

It is no secret that Ideal PR Media is over the moon about all of the success Michael B Jordan is having right now. We are also very honored that we had the pleasure of handling him at the NAACP Image Awards some years back (CLICK HERE TO SEE ;-).
