Special thanks to "Jersey Mike's Subs" from Burbank, CA who provided sub sandwiches to the media in the media room jerseymikes.com
(Lil B. Sure! was in the media room an grabbed a tasty sub from one of the camera men)
Moet (Delisia and Evan) who provided the special "Albert Joseph" crystal studded bottles for the evening and Moet minis to our red carpet guests
92.3 for everything and all of their staff (Thanks Wes Hall) who was SUPERMAN making things happen (Robert Lyles is the man!), and to Famous Cupcakes.com in North Hollywood for their amazing cupcake display for Al B. Sure! The guest loved them. Celebrity Photographer Arnold Turner snapped special portrait images of the celebrities in the private red velvet room, while many media outlets snapped away at the black backdrop inside on the 2nd floor in the media room. Things were pretty packed very early, and kudos to those who followed the "strongly suggest" arrival time of 8:30pm. Throughout the party, many decided to enjoy the DJ party room or go directly in the live performance room and toast with the birthday boy! The video presentation on the club screens ran all night and was provided by the most fabulous CJ (Cartier) of AfterParty247.com who also provided fantastic event coverage.
The night was hosted by Tommy Davidson who was witty as usual! Eric Benet and various singers took the stage including Ali Woodson of the Temptations, Keith Robinson from the movie "Dream Girls," Jon B, Chikezie (American Idol) a lot of others including his son Lil B. Sure! who sung Happy Birthday to his father. Al B. Sure! Jon B, Keith Robinson, Eric Benet and company sung Secret Garden, Night and Day as well as free styled to the biggest crowd R&B Live Hollywood has EVER seen. History was made and if you missed maybe you can catch it on AfterParty247.com, The Mike Sherman Show, The Weekend Gamer, Black Hollywood News or the host of other shows who were in the media room and post their video footage online. Thanks Juliette from FOX 11 Good Day LA for the post birthday mention on the morning show and be sure to check out Eugenia Wright's write up on the party on EURWeb.com http://www.eurweb.com/story/eur44146.cfm
Again, we appreciate everyone who lifted a phone, finger or a file to make this event happen in less than a week's preparation time!!! A very special thanks to Cinespace (Jack) and their security staff who was awesome in responding to our requests, as well as all of the staff at CineSpace and Icon Ent (Greg, Felipe, Brandon and crew) who worked hard. Priscilla V. (Ms "Priscilla-tate") Al B. Sure!'s assistant pulled invisible strings and the Ideal PR staff who worked really hard to have a packed media room receiving all the invited celebrities/personalities and overall more than 600 guests shared in Al B. Sure! and son Quincy Brown's milestone day. You can wish Mr. Al B. Sure! a happy birthday by visiting his myspace page and posting a comment: http://myspace.com/albsurenet

R&B Live has many locations in various cities. Its a venue that is designed for new, developing and rising singers to have a platform to perform, and many times in front of very important people. ABS! enjoyed meeting a lot of the singers many for the first time and we were all humbled by the list of young, rising singers who made their way out to the venue and those who stepped on stage.
(Please SAVE THE DATE July 19th for Paige Hurd's (Everybody Hates Chris) Sweet 16 party in Los Angeles.)
