, the beautiful and ever so talented singer/actress/performer is taking her talent to the Broadway stage where she will star in the musical "Chicago," debuting in New York City on May 12. Fans however, won't have to wait until May to see Mya light up the stage. Clear your schedules, because the star will compete in the premier of the brand new CBS television series, "Secret Talents of the Stars," on Tuesday, April 8th from 10:00-11:00 pm (ET/delayed on PT). What better way to start a show's season than by featuring a dazzling tap dancing performance by Mya? And yes...Mya will be opening the show with the FIRST performance, so make sure you are watching ON TIME :-)

"Secret Talents of the Stars" is a competition which gives celebrities the opportunity to wow their fans with never before seen performances. The television show will demonstrate how diverse the competitor's talents are, as they perform acts outside of their usual area of entertainment. Following the performances, viewers will call in to vote for their favorite act (Be sure to vote for MYA!!!) and the star with the most votes will proceed to compete in the next week's programs against new contestants.

What some may not know is that Mya actually began her career by tap dancing, and has performed across the country in well known establishments such as Kennedy Center, Smithsonian and the Shakespeare Theatre, and Lincoln Center alongside the Tony Award-winning, Gregory Hines. Mya's participation in the cut-throat competition on CBS Tuesday April 8th, will only continue with her fan's help, so be sure to tune in and vote for the multi-talented superstar. Only your votes will enable Mya to advance to the next round and fill our living rooms with yet another spectacular performance. And we all know we can never get enough of Mya so be prepared to hit redial OVER AND OVER :-)
