My Big Fat American Gyspsy Wedding is TLC's newest hit series which is a mouthful to say, and extremely entertaining to watch. If you have not seen this show yet, you must tune in on Sundays at 10PM ET/PT on TLC to see their over the top dress creations.
The dresses are quirky, sassy, "blinged-out", complex, sometimes odd and tacky, sometimes intricate and beautiful, but always one of a kind. monster ball gowns, infinite trains, blinding rhinestones, and sometimes matching accessories and pre-wedding outfits (yes, even bikinis). These designs, the genius behind Boston clothing designer Sondra Celli, make any gypsy bride’s dreams come true.
The process behind creating and fitting these rare dresses is fascinating and part of a subculture that most Americans know very little about. The series, which airs on Sundays at 10 PM ET/PT, offers unprecedented access into the lives of this community that is pro-Swarovski crystal-wearing and trailer park-living, but never shy on drama.
Set your DVR NOW so you are certain not to forget to watch this show. This is such an entertaining way to end your Sunday evening and begin your work week!
